This is episode 153, and I'm your host, Donna Doyon. This week we are going to pull our message from the universe, from the Nature's Whispers Oracle deck. And this is by Angela Hartfield. And the artwork is by Josephine Wall. And it's a beautiful deck. This was the first deck that I ever purchased, and it's still one of my favorites. So the card that I pulled for us for this week is the make a Wish card. Make a wish. Make a wish. Yes. Make a decision card. And isn't every decision a wish for something better for ourselves? Thank you for that extra little guidance there. That's amazing. Think about it. When you make a wish, you are making a decision. Now, one of the things we can run into in life is when we don't make a decision, we just are stuck. We're stalled. We can't go left, we can't go right. We just are kind of here. And things start to just kind of for me, at least, they start to feel overwhelming and I start to feel full of dull, full of doubt. And I start to wonder, oh, there are so many choices. So many choices.

[00:01:41.400] - Speaker 1

What do I do? What do I do? And so I do nothing rather than stagnating and just being stuck in this place of indecision and nothingness. This week, make a decision. You know what you need to make a decision about? It could be a big decision and it could be so overwhelming, it could involve other people or it could be one of those smaller decisions, something that you want to do for yourself. This is your week. The universe is speaking to us. It's telling us to make a decision. So before I go to the front of the card and point out some things, look at the back of the cards on this deck. It is so beautiful. The butterfly is a symbol of transformation. Making a decision will transform you. It will transform you from that stagnant place to one where you can take action. You can start to get excited and feel enthusiastic about something. Very rarely are our decisions something that we can't stop or go back on. Very few. Yes, there are some, but most we can take some steps forward to decide how it feels for us if it's something we really want to do.

[00:02:56.020] - Speaker 1

Because sometimes indecision comes from not knowing what's further down the path. Well, if we take a few steps, we may be able to see around that next corner. We may be able to stretch ourselves just a little bit to say, yeah, this is something I can do or not really feeling it. I don't think this is what I thought it was going to be, but until we take those few steps, we can't learn that information. So this card is stunning. Like all of the cards in this deck now, for me, it is obviously broken into two sections. So we've got this side, which has the glowing yellow. It's just beautiful. She has her arm up and it's just like an angel wing or a butterfly wing. But when I look at this card closer, the coloring in there, in the shading, it looks more like the inside of a seashell. Lots of opportunities in a seashell, right? It could travel around the world, across the globe. And there are smaller animals, and I doubt you can see that, but there are smaller animals and birds inside of this feathery wing that she's holding up. And she's looking towards that way.

[00:04:13.450] - Speaker 1

So she's looking towards that brighter, glowing, a more calming side of the card. This side is very bold and colorful. There are lots of animals, larger animals, and just so brilliant. And if you notice, this part actually takes up a little bit more than half of the card because up here, where her arm is embraced, it's kind of like that's the dividing line. And perhaps the decision you need to make is one that will either help you to feel calmer or to throw you into more action and more frenzy, something bigger and bolder and perhaps a little scary. A couple of years ago, that was my phrase, my theme for the year, I wanted to do things that were big, bold and scary. But perhaps it's time for a quiet transition. Now, one thing I also noticed on this side, right down in here, there is a mask. And so today I ask you if the decision you need to make is one that requires you to remove your mask or if it's one that would require you to put on a mask. Ultimately, in this life, we want to be so truly authentic to who we are.

And I hate using that word because it feels so overused. When you know in your heart that you're making the right decision, it feels light and care free. And you're like, I can do anything. And when it's the wrong decision for you doesn't mean the decision itself is wrong. When it's wrong for you, that's when you start to feel heavy, you feel the weight, you feel the stress. Me, I carry the stress in my shoulders, I carry it in my hips, and you start to close in and close down. But when it's true for you, when it makes you feel light so that you can spread your wings, you can spread that wing up and just look and say, yes, this is what I need. So I would like to read to you what Angela Hartfield. I don't know how she gets her messages. If she channels them, if they just come inspired but this is what she wrote for the make a decision card. Your sheer determination is highlighted at this time. Your spirit will support your desires and manifestations. The ability to create or destroy has always been within your skill base. You have the wisdom and confidence needed to use these skills constructively.

Now is the time to act if you know what it is you want to accomplish and why. Since the powers of transformation are at your command, change your desires into objectives, your thoughts into actions, your goals into achievements. If you have recently met with failure, Know you can change that failure into success. The only limits you have are those you impose on yourself. Failure sometimes that's what keeps us from making a decision. I heard from and I believe it was Dr. Shannon Irvine. I think that's her name on a podcast and she says that fail is first attempt in learning and I love that first attempt in learning. When you're trying something, you're not quite sure how to do it. So you may fail if your heart is still calling you to do it, just try again. Okay. And then, of course my mind automatically went to okay. So does that mean the second attempt is sale sail? And maybe it is because when you sail, you allow the winds to catch the sails and that propels you forward and on some days there is no wind so you just kind of drift along. And then the third attempt at learning tail.

Does that mean that we're watching your tale as you just take off because you've finally mastered it and you're just running around and so we're seeing the backside of you because you're on your way. Whatever works for you. This week it's your turn to make a decision. It could be the best decision in your life. Have an amazing week.
