You can always retrace your steps if you discover that path is not the best one for you.
One thing I’ve learned is that sometimes I don’t know what works or doesn’t work for me, until I give it a try.
And oftentimes, what I thought I wanted, isn’t what I wanted after all. But I couldn’t learn that without making a decision and giving that “something” a try.
